My Top 3 Priorities

  • I have a plan to bring good paying jobs to this district, and those jobs, combined with more workforce housing and better quality education will boost our economy and expand the middle class.
  • We must invest in education, and we must do it more strategically. We know that education is the path out of poverty, yet we are graduating students and then paying for remedial reading and math courses for them.
  • We need to get more aggressive about air quality. Transportation, employment, housing and education are all interrelated, and we can make a big impact on our environment with land use decisions that put new -- green -- housing where the jobs are. We

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I am running because my region is in a crisis state -- with working families unable to be a part of the middle class, children graduating high school without basic reading and math skills, a housing shortage, homelessness, smog, drought, wildfires and other climate-related natural disasters -- and because my professional background gives me the skills needed to identify, understand and address these issues.

I am pro-choice, pro-labor, pro-public safety and fiscally responsible. I am an LGBTQIA ally, and an advocate for equity for all people.
